A film set during World War 2 I did brief sound design, sound editing, and re-recording mixing/repair on. Most of the sound assets came from both Freesound.org and YouTube videos of old WWII era guns being fired, with an assortment of firecrackers and airsoft guns being used for the bullets snapping.
